To consider the head of planning’s report. 

The Cabinet member for corporate services and transformation, Councillor Debby Hallett, introduced the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The SCI has been consulted on and updated to reflect feedback. There are updates made relating to Covid-19 (page 91 on Cabinet report). It was requested that Cabinet authorise the head of planning, in consultation with the Cabinet member for corporate services and transformation, to make any minor changes, typographical corrections or non-material amendments to the Statement of Community Involvement prior to adoption. The report was commended for being reflective of reaching out to people, and the continual review process.

RESOLVED: to

(a) adopt the Statement of Community Involvement, as set out in Appendix 1 of the head of planning’s report to Cabinet on 25 September 2020; and

(b) authorise the head of planning, in consultation with the Cabinet member for

corporate services and transformation, to make any minor changes, typographical

corrections or non-material amendments to the Statement of Community Involvement

prior to publication.
